Suspension plays an important role in vehicle handling performance. The safety of steering will be improved when the suspension can adjust its characteristic depending on vehicle conditions. This paper proposed a control method to adjust the suspension force on body and wheel based on robust control, which was simulated on vehicle dynamic model. Then, an integrated control method about suspension and ESC is designed to avoid conflict between two systems. Finally, the effectiveness of the algorithm was tested in hardware in the loop system.
