The Main Directions Development of Small Business Entities in the Agro-Industrial Complex of the Penza Region

The article reflects the main directions development of small forms of farming in rural areas, which make a significant contribution to the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region. The purpose of the article is to substantiate the main directions of increasing the effective development of small business entities. As an object, peasant (farmer) farms and individual entrepreneurs of the Penza region are being investigated. The research methods used are mono-graphical, economic-statistical, abstract-logical, etc. The authors analyzed the dynamics of agricultural production by peasant (farm) farms, which showed that in this category of farms, both the production of potatoes and vegetables, as well as the acreage under them, has been decreasing since 2019. The problem of the sale of products by small forms of management is highlighted. The classification of existing types of grant support for small businesses in the region, amounts and directions of grant support is given. For state support of agricultural producers of small business forms from September 1, 2024. The law on the provision of state support for the sale of farm products has entered into force. The article "Development of the infrastructure of the farm products market" has been added to the Law "On the Development of Agriculture". In this regard, the authors have developed a set of organizational and economic measures aimed at solving the problematic aspects of marketing farm products.
