The prospects for using artificial intelligence in the field of education are considered. The main aspects related to the introduction of artificial intelligence into the educational process are analyzed, for example, self-learning, task automation, intelligent content creation, etc. The advantages of using artificial intelligence, such as increasing the quality of education, the availability of educational resources, and reducing the workload of teachers, are discussed. Along with the advantages, some risks are explored in the process of using artificial intelligence, in particular, threats to data privacy, increased inequality in access to knowledge due to the digital divide, loss of human relationships, and the importance of interpersonal relationships in the educational process. The problems of artificial intelligence are analyzed and ways to prevent them are considered. Also, the article examines the statistics of the development of artificial intelligence in education, and gives specific results based on the facts. The impact and consequences of artificial intelligence in the educational process in Kazakhstan are determined.
