"In order to face the new challenges and advances in educational technologies, educational institutions, as part of their commitment to the quality of education, have introduced different educational management platforms, known in English as Learning Management Systems (LMS), which are tools support in the teaching-learning process. For this reason, a ""Private School"" in Guadalajara implemented an LMS at the primary and secondary levels. And, after a year and a half of its implementation, the need to evaluate the results that the platform has had has been identified through the experience of use of the different actors involved with it (managers, teachers, students and parents). This study uses qualitative techniques, such as focus groups and participant observation, in order to assess the experiences and perceptions of the different actors of the private school, which contribute to identifying areas of opportunity that serve for decision making. Based on interviews with 103 educational actors through focus group sessions. The narratives and experiences shared by the actors were analyzed through the qualitative software Atlas.ti. The results show that there are discrepancies between the LMS applied model’s and the results expected by the private school. The greatest discrepancies are identified in the Pedagogical dimension followed by the administrative dimension, with some difficulties in the technical dimension. The main problems were identified by type of actor and dimension."
