Abstract

A new online database that tracks deaths associated with college hazing found that there has been an average of five hazing deaths per year in America since 2000. The database was created by Hank Nuwer, a journalist, author, and investigator who has researched hazing deaths for 50 years, in partnership with the University of Washington Information School, the University of Maine, and HazingInfo.org.
