Abstract After years of water injection development, the oilfield has stepped into a high water-cut stage. A large number of oil and water wells have been shut in for a long time due to various reasons. By review of reservoirs and clear potential adjustment, Review of Post-Infilled Reservoirs, using high-precision numerical simulation technology to analyze the characteristics and potential of remaining oil in long-term shut-in well areas. Reconstructing injection-production relationships to enhance reserve control, well network adjustment and addition of water injection directions, combining with injection-production conditions to restore injection well points. Fine-tuning extraction to optimize injection-production structure. The representative a certain block was selected to conduct well shut-in treatment. The reservoirs were re-evaluated and the injection-production relationship was restructured, followed by finely adjustment of the potential extraction methods. This aims at improving development efficiency and benefits, which has shown good results in managing long-term wells shut-down. The existing resources have been revitalized. The overall development situation is improving. the development effect has been significantly improved.
