The article uses the example of judicial cases involving cryptocurrencies to review problems of the undefi ned status of cryptocurrencies in criminal and criminal procedure laws. The author notes the impact of blockchain technologies on processes of arrest and seizure of cryptocurrencies. The paper covers the problem of harmonization of Russian laws and international standards in this sphere. Potential solutions of existing problems are off ered.
