You have accessJournal of UrologyInfertility: Epidemiology when grouped into normozoospermia vs. oligo-/azoospermia, their mean YLD scores were 0.32 (SD 1.17) and 0.38 (SD 1.35), respectively. CONCLUSIONS: The mean YLD score for the entire cohort was 0.35 apparently showing a modest diseases' burden among infertile men. Overall, patients with worse semen parameters depicted higher YLD, meaning they have a higher disease burden as compared with men with normozoospermia at baseline. These findings carry significant public health implications by emphasizing the importance of recognizing infertility as a potential marker for broader health concerns.
