Abstract

In a sample of 5. 3x10⁷ ∅-decays observed with the KLOE detector at the Frascati ∅-factory DAF∅NE we find 605 ηπ⁰γ events with η→γγ and 197 π⁰γ events with η→π^+π^-π⁰. The decay ηπ⁰γ is dominated by the process ∅→a₀γ. From a fit to the ηπ⁰ mass spectrum we find BR (∅→ηa₀ (980) γ) = (7. 4±0. 7) x10^-5.
