Abstract

본 연구는 2022개정 고등학교 미술과 교육과정과 미술 교과서에 나타난 전시 기획 활동을 분석하고, 그 교육적 함의를 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 선행연구에 나타난 전시 기획의 개념을 정리하고, 미국(일리노이주), 캐나다(bc주), 호주, 싱가포르, 핀란드의 미술과 교육과정을 분석하여 전시 기획 활동을 구성하는 학습요소를 분석하였다. 전시 기획의 학습 요소로는 비판적 선택 및 정당화, 관람자 인식과 소통, 전시 공간과 매체 활용, 윤리 · 사회적 책임, 기록 · 성찰 · 평가가 도출되었고, 이는 국내 2022 개정 고등학교 미술과 교육과정과 교과서 분석 준거로 활용되었다. 2022개정 미술과 교육과정에는 전시 기획이 고등학교 감상 영역 성취기준으로 제시되어 있으며, 디지털 기술 활용과 미술 문화의 생활화를 강조함으로써 전시를 삶과 연결된 문화적 실천으로 확장하고 있었다. 반면 교과서에서는 전시 기획의 과정, 윤리적 · 사회문화적 성찰, 학교급 간 연계 등에서 한계가 확인되었다. 본 연구는 국외 교육과정에서 도출한 분석 준거를 토대로 국내 교육과정과 교과서에 나타난 전시 기획의 구조적 특징과 한계를 살펴봄으로써, 향후 미술 교과서 개발과 전시 기반 미술교육을 위한 이론적ㆍ실천적 시사점을 제시한다.
