This study focuses on methodological evaluation of smallholder farms systems in Senegal, aiming to understand their clinical outcomes through a panel-data estimation framework. A mixed-methods approach will be employed, integrating quantitative data from panel surveys with qualitative insights from farmer interviews. The econometric model used is Y₈ₓ = eta₀ + eta₁X₈ₓ + uᵢ, where Y₈ₓ represents the clinical outcome for farm i in period t, and X₈ₓ includes a set of explanatory variables such as climate conditions and input usage. This study provides valuable insights into the clinical outcomes of smallholder farms in Senegal and highlights the importance of incorporating adaptive management strategies. Policy recommendations include enhancing climate-resilient agricultural practices and improving access to weather forecasting services for farmers.
