This work shows and analyzes the migration policy and cultural impact of migrant communities and discusses the phenomenon of migration and its economic and cultural impact based on methods and materials from previous studies and Brazilian migration laws. Therefore, the proposed study seeks to discuss Brazilian immigration policies in the period between 2010 and 2022, a period that includes the approval and entry into force of Law No. 13.445/2017 and encompasses important migratory movements, such as Haitians and Venezuelans who sought better living conditions in Brazil due to various problems stemming from environmental disasters and/or political issues and institutional instability in their countries of origin. However, it is not ignored that, for an understanding of migration policies, a historical-evolutionary analysis is necessary not only of the international migratory process and its effects on Brazil, but mainly of public policies and the issuance of regulations to address labor issues. To reach the results, it was necessary to analyze each migratory flow to show the cultural and economic impact and how Brazilian migration policy responded to it.
