Formation of the Modern Land Use System in Russia

The article discusses the theoretical issues of the formation of the modern land use system in Russia. The analysis of scientific research on the issues of the land use system has been carried out in this paper. The authors proposed some clarifications in the structure of the system and the role of the state land policy in the land use system. The difference in the concepts «land use» and «land use system» is considered in this work as well.
