Methodological Evaluation of District Hospitals Systems in Tanzania Using Quasi-Experimental Designfor Clinical Outcome Measurement,

This study aims to evaluate the operational efficiency of district hospitals in Tanzania by applying a quasi-experimental design. A mixed-methods approach combining quantitative data from patient health records with qualitative interviews was employed. Statistical analysis included regression models and sensitivity analyses to ensure robustness of findings. The preliminary findings suggest a significant improvement in hospital infection rates post-intervention, though further detailed analysis is required for broader conclusions. This study provides evidence that the quasi-experimental design can effectively measure clinical outcomes in Tanzania's district hospitals. Future research should focus on replication and longitudinal studies. Healthcare managers are advised to implement targeted interventions based on this evaluation, particularly focusing on infection control measures. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
