Assessment on the impact of the proposed development on heritage assts The building is a non-designated early 20th century building in a very poor state of repair. The structure is open to vermin and is unstable in places. It is proposed to build a two-storey residential building which follows the shape and materials of the current building. The building is a detractor from the Conservation Area and to the significance of the listed buildings on Brunswick Square. Its replacement with a well-designed modern building is therefore an enhancement. The proposed replacement building will preserve and enhance the Conservation Area and will have no negative impact on the Grade II Listed buildings of Brunswick Square.
