This algorithm enhances convergence speed in circuit simulations using GMRES and spectral methods, improving efficiency.
Abstract Transistor level circuit simulator is a very important technology in integrated circuit design. Modern circuit simulators generally divide circuits into several submodules, and usually use the GMRES method to solve the top-level dense matrix formed by the coupling parts between submodules. This article adopts the Spectral algorithm of RC reduction, which not only removes the resistance and capacitance that have a small impact on the circuit, but also compensates for adjacent nodes, extracts appropriate preprocessing matrices from the circuit, improves the convergence speed of the GMRES method, and enhances the simulation efficiency of the circuit.
