New records of four Recifella species in Australia are identified, suggesting rich biodiversity in the region.
The following new species are described from Australia: Recifella insolitiseta sp. nov., R. integra sp. nov., R. quadriseta sp. nov. and R. rotundiseta sp. nov. A redescription is given of Recifella flagellata Cook, 1986 and R. kakadu Smit, 2007. A key is given for all known Recifella species from Australia.
