Analytical method reveals the necessary gear ratios for optimal engine performance, highlighting the role of the engine adhesion coefficient and dynamic characteristics.
The article presents an analytical dependence for determining the coefficient of permissible engine load, which takes into account the dynamic characteristics of the tractor unit and the value of traction. The proposed approach makes it possible to determine the maximum engine torque, which ensures the conditions for stable and efficient operation of the unit under variable load conditions. The results of the calculations provide grounds for a rational distribution of gear ratios in the tractor transmission, especially in cases where the engine has an increased coefficient of adaptability. It is shown that with increasing speed, the permissible load factor decreases, which requires additional refinement of the transmission structure. The proposed expression can be effectively used in the practice of designing or modernizing tractor transmissions of various types, contributing to an increase in their adaptability to operating conditions.
