The article is devoted to the study of risks of innovative projects implementation at enterprises under conditions of modern economic uncertainty. The relevance of the topic is determined by the growing need for Ukrainian enterprises to implement innovations under conditions of economic instability, competitive pressure, and rapid technological changes. Modern business environment requires companies to continuously innovate to maintain competitiveness, however, innovation activities are inherently risky and can lead to significant financial losses if not properly managed. The purpose of the research is to develop a comprehensive methodology for identifying, assessing and reducing risks of innovative projects at the enterprise level, which would enable companies to make informed decisions about innovation investments. The research methodology includes systematic analysis of scientific literature on risk management and innovation theory, comparative analysis of existing risk management approaches, synthesis of best practices in innovation risk management, and development of practical recommendations based on theoretical foundations and empirical observations. The main types of risks accompanying innovative activities are considered, including technological risks related to technical feasibility and obsolescence, commercial risks involving market acceptance and competition, financial risks concerning budget overruns and funding availability, and operational risks related to production and supply chain disruptions. Approaches to risk identification and assessment are systematized, including expert methods, analytical approaches, and scenario analysis. A comprehensive five-stage methodology for managing risks of innovative projects is proposed, which includes planning risk management, risk identification, qualitative risk analysis, quantitative risk analysis, and risk response planning. Risk reduction strategies are defined including risk avoidance, risk minimization, risk transfer, and risk acceptance. Practical recommendations for enterprises are developed to improve the efficiency of innovative activities under uncertainty conditions. The practical value of the article lies in providing enterprises with effective tools for risk management in innovative projects, which contributes to increasing the success rate of innovation implementation, reducing potential losses from unsuccessful projects, and improving overall innovation management processes.
