Micromagnetic simulations demonstrate the generation of frequency combs from inelastic scattering between spin waves, highlighting new control methods for magnonic applications.
We demonstrate the generation of the magnon frequency comb via inelastic scattering between edge-mode and bulk-type spin waves. Micromagnetic simulations reveal that clear frequency combs emerge when the driving microwave field exceeds a threshold amplitude and operates within a specific frequency range. By tuning the field strength and incident angle of bulk-type spin waves, the spectral features of the comb can be precisely controlled. This work establishes a compact, low-power approach to spin-wave-based frequency comb generation, advancing magnonic device applications.
