Observational analysis reveals a dual-mode wireless power transfer system enhancing charge efficiency, indicating stable operations without transmitter-receiver communication.
To meet the growing demand for lithium battery charging, a wireless energy transmission system is needed that can operate in two output modes: constant-current and constant-voltage. This paper presents a WPT system based on the LCC-S topology, which achieves the transition between CC and CV by simply adjusting the system frequency. Furthermore, the system operates under zero phase angle (ZPA) conditions. This design eliminates the need for communication between the transmitter and receiver, which simplifies the system and enhances its stability.
