Case study demonstrates the benefits of multimodal learning resources in college English, suggesting the need for personalized design and optimization strategies.
This study uses the bilibili platform as a case study to explore the integration and optimization path of multimodal learning resources in college English listening teaching. The study found that the synergistic combination of multimodal resources significantly enhanced the attractiveness of learning materials and the efficiency of information processing, but the complexity of information needs to be balanced to avoid cognitive overload. Individual differences among learners have a significant impact on resource adaptability, and dynamic adjustment of presentation methods and learning paths has become the key to improving the effect. The survey shows that students are highly satisfied with the platform’s functional design and course flexibility, but the incentive mechanism is insufficient and needs to be further optimized. The study further revealed that teaching ability and resource practicality are the core factors driving student satisfaction, while group differences in interactive behavior and resource presentation methods highlight the necessity of personalized design. The conclusion points out that the application of multimodal resources needs to take into account both technical empowerment and learner demand adaptation, and provide a more immersive and targeted solution for college English listening teaching by optimizing collaborative strategies and dynamic adaptation mechanisms.
