This analysis reports the kinetic modeling of pyrolysis in cotton stalk, suggesting significant product yield improvements with desulfurized fly ash.
This study presents a comprehensive investigation of the catalytic effect using desulfurized fly ash (DFA) as a catalyst on the pyrolysis reaction mechanism of cotton stalk (CS) and its main components, cellulose (CE) and lignin (LG). The analysis is based on laboratory data. We obtained the relationship between the pyrolysis product yield of each pyrolysis combination and the mixing ratio of the corresponding pyrolysis combination. We identified differences in the yields of pyrolysis products and pyrolysis gas components for the two main biomass components. Based on this analysis, we constructed a reaction kinetic model. Finally, we proposed a novel quadratic regression prediction model, which demonstrated superior fitting for high-yield products through F-test validation.
