This analysis demonstrates enhanced temperature control in rotary kilns using a water cooling system and fuzzy PID control, indicating improved production safety.
Due to the detachment of refractory bricks from the inner wall of the rotary kiln shell, certain areas experience rapid temperature increases, leading to overheating zones. To prevent damage to the lining bricks caused by overheating, this paper proposes a water-cooling system for the rotary kiln shell based on infrared thermal imaging technology. The system monitors temperature in real time and precisely controls cooling to reduce thermal bending deformation caused by temperature differences. Optimized fuzzy PID control and the Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) are employed to optimize control parameters, resulting in improved adjustment time, reduced overshoot, enhanced anti-interference capability, and reduced energy consumption compared to traditional control methods. This system significantly enhances the temperature control accuracy and response speed of the rotary kiln, providing strong support for improving production safety and equipment stability.
