Abstract In this paper, a continuous rigid frame bridge is taken as an example to analyze the long-term deflection of different creep characteristics of the bridge. Due to the cracking of the concrete, the accelerated creep and the reduction of the girder stiffness result in an increase in the deflection of a girder, which further leads to the occurrence of cracks, deflection, and cracking. These are mutually influential and coupled and aggravate the girder disease, so the stiffness and prestress loss of the main girder are analyzed quantitatively. The results show that the creep coefficient of the B3 model is higher than other models. The prestress loss of tendons and the long-term deflection have a certain positive correlation, and the cracking of the girder and the weakening of the section stiffness due to the loss of prestress will also obviously affect the long-term deflection.
