Analysis highlights the influence of legislative changes on business registration and corporatization in Ukraine.
This article explores the entrepreneurial activity in Ukraine and analyzes its transformation in the context of legislative reforms. It identifies key problems and factors influencing entrepreneurship development, particularly the repeal of the Commercial Code of Ukraine, which has led to a series of changes in business registration, management, and reorganization processes. The study examines recent legislative changes affecting entrepreneurship. The latest reforms aim to simplify business regulations, enhance the transparency of financial reporting, and align enterprises with international standards. Special attention is given to the adoption of the Law «On the peculiarities of regulating the activities of legal entities of certain organizational and legal forms during the transitional period and associations of legal entities», which repeals the Commercial Code of Ukraine and mandates the corporatization of state and municipal enterprises. The recent legislative changes, especially the repeal of the Commercial Code, have significantly impacted entrepreneurial activities. These reforms have led to a revision of business registration, management, and restructuring procedures, as well as adjustments to the legal framework governing the entrepreneurial sector. The legislative changes aim to simplify regulatory frameworks, improve economic transparency, and help businesses adapt to international standards. Particular focus is placed on the corporatization of state and municipal enterprises, which is a pivotal element in economic reform. Starting a business in Ukraine is a challenge for true innovators. From the first idea to acquiring the first customers, entrepreneurs must overcome numerous obstacles. The difficulties have intensified due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the full-scale war, which have drastically reshaped the country’s economic landscape. Under such circumstances, running a business becomes a true art of balance. Is it possible to succeed when control over one’s own enterprise-or even one’s life-feels uncertain? The answer depends not only on external conditions but also on the ability to adapt, seek new opportunities, and build resilient business models. The conclusions of the study emphasize that the implemented reforms create new opportunities for businesses but require entrepreneurs to be flexible and capable of quickly adapting to changes. The analysis of the current state of entrepreneurship in Ukraine has demonstrated the significant impact of legislative changes on business organization and operations. In particular, the reform of the regulatory framework, the abolition of the Commercial Code, and the mandatory corporatization of state and municipal enterprises influence the structure of economic activity.
