A BSTRACT Background: Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) (ICD-10 E28.2) is a common endocrinal disease during the reproductive age group and a public health problem which has an impact on the health, identity, and quality of life of a woman. Anemia is defined as a reduced number of red blood cells or less than the normal amount of hemoglobin in the blood. For the treatment of both PCOS, the target should be to prevent a recurrence, less side effects, and reduce the cost of medications. Homoeopathy would be one of the beneficial and safer therapeutic options in the management of PCOS and anemia. Case Summary: A 26-year-old female attended the outpatient department with the complaints of irregular menses for the last 2 years with recurrent pain in the lower abdomen and abnormal hairy growth in the face for the last 6 months. The Rotterdam criteria and other investigations confirm that the patient was suffering from PCOS along with anemia. Based on the totality of symptoms, individualized homoeopathic medicine (IHM) ( Pulsatilla nigricans ) was prescribed. Result: The patient was improved with IHM which corroborated with diagnostic parameters and general well-being. The Outcome in Relation to Daily Living Scale was used to assess the outcome. The score was + 4 after treatment. The high score (+9) of Modified Naranjo Criteria for Homoeopathy also suggested that the likelihood of improvement was attributable to the homoeopathic intervention. Conclusion: The case report shows the beneficial effects of IHM in the treatment of PCOS as well as anemia. Nevertheless, more extensive studies are warranted with enhanced methodology.
