This study proposes to explore the eco printing method with the aim of creating an experimental print on a piece of clothing, making use of sustainable and biodegradable raw materials. The work is developed based on the double diamond methodology, covering a series of tests to experiment the combination of different mordants, fabrics, execution techniques and raw materials. The tests that presented patterns with stronger pigments and faded less served as a parameter for creating the print on the dress that was made. As a final result, the work highlights the potential of patterns generated with flowers and leaves in a dress from the party fashion segment and, thus, aims to propagate eco printing techniques. The challenges faced in relation to the fixation of pigments after washing are presented, aspiring to develop more studies on this method so that it can be applied on a larger scale in the fashion sector.
