Comparative analysis reveals energy-frequency characteristics in hydraulic impact mechanisms, indicating design improvements for mining applications.
The article presents a comparative analysis of the effective use of hydraulic impact mechanisms (HIM) in various industries. The spectrum of energy-frequency characteristics and design features of HIM from well-known global manufacturers are considered. Basic information on the devices, operating principles, types and various parameters of hydraulic hammers used as active working devices on mining machines is provided. Analysis of the compatibility of HIM characteristics with base machines on which they are installed as a mounted actuator. It is established that with the current optimal design, the device has a number of advantages and disadvantages that affect the operational properties of the mechanism.
