The necessity of post-processing enhances product quality in additive manufacturing, suggesting effective solutions.
Currently, additive technologies are becoming increasingly widespread in industrial sectors. Manufacturing using additive technologies has many advantages and can significantly reduce production costs, as well as allow for the creation of products that cannot be made using traditional processing methods. Replacing traditional processing methods with additive ones will make it possible to create products that were previously unavailable or reduce the cost and labor intensity of their production. This article discusses the justification for the necessity of subsequent processing of parts manufactured using additive technologies, outlines the main issues that can arise with such production, and suggests possible methods for their resolution, along with a number of references for detailed study of these problems and methods. During the study, various post-processing methods were identified as the most suitable for achieving the required tasks and objectives. Among these, the "Hirtisation" technology was recognized as an automated and comprehensive method for processing parts, capable of addressing multiple challenges simultaneously. Sources for a more detailed and in-depth study of these methods are provided. The study of this article will be useful for those who have encountered issues with the insufficient quality of products made by additive methods, for students in fields related to manufacturing industries, and for individuals interested in additive technologies and modern manufacturing methods.
