Exploration assessment highlights mineral composition and geological structure of Sugatov deposit, suggesting potential for mining.
The geological structure and mineralogy of the Sugatov deposit, located in the Aleyskaya subzone of the Rudnyaltai structural and formation zone, are considered. The deposit is represented by volcanogenic and intrusive rocks of Devonian and Carboniferous ages, with various forms of mineralization, including porphyry copper and sulfuric ores. The features of the occurrence of ore bodies, their morphology, mineral composition and the nature of hydrothermal changes are considered. The oxidation and secondary enrichment zones are described, as well as an analysis of the distribution of valuable and related elements such as gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc. The results of exploration work are discussed, forecast reserves are indicated. Conclusions are drawn about the prospects for further development of the field, including the possibility of its open-pit mining. A detailed study of deep horizons and flanks is recommended to identify potential ore bodies.
