Systematic review identifies gaps in electromyography usage for driver diagnostics, suggesting further research is necessary.
<ns3:p>The aim of this scientific review is to identify the current state of knowledge regarding the use of electromyography (EMG) in the diagnostics of drivers, including drivers with movement disabilities, using the Systematic Quantitative Literature Review (SQLR) method. Original scientific publications, case studies, conference materials and reviews of general scientific literature published between 1970 and 2024 were searched using selected keywords ("electromyography", "EMG", "quadriplegic", "driver") in available databases. The main aim of the study is to indicate the need for further research due to the deficiencies related to the selected research group of people, who have multiple limb paralysis.</ns3:p>
