Comment highlights drug survival and effectiveness of risankizumab in psoriasis, suggesting adherence assessment is vital for future studies.
This letter comments on the recent study by Mastorino et al. reporting high long-term drug survival (87.2%) and effectiveness of risankizumab in real-world psoriasis treatment. We highlight a key methodological limitation—the lack of adherence assessment—which may confound interpretation of persistence outcomes. Incorporating adherence data in future studies would enhance the accuracy, interpretability, and clinical relevance of real-world evidence.
