This research demonstrates improved thermal conductivity in polymer coatings with 2 wt% graphene, highlighting new strategies for heat management.
To address the challenge of graphene dispersion in polymer matrices, a pre-dispersion strategy in deionized water was employed before fabricating graphene coatings via a physical blending method. Systematic evaluations including thermal conductivity measurements, emissivity characterization, and temperature-rise experiments demonstrated that the coating with graphene content of 2 wt% exhibited optimal heat dissipation performance. This study provides a practical approach to enhancing the thermal management capabilities of graphene-reinforced polymeric coatings.
