Observational analysis of load impact on truck transmission reliability in cold temperatures, suggesting heating may enhance performance.
The article is devoted to the issues of ensuring reliable operation of a truck transmission exposed to environmental influences. The results of studies of the load on transmission parts and units under the influence of negative temperatures and atmospheric air mobility are presented. The expediency of using on-board heating of transmission units during operation in certain driving modes and in a given range of ambient temperatures is established.
