The article considers the process of development and implementation of personnel assessment system at the manufacturing enterprise. The authors identify the main problems associated with current approaches to assessment and propose a set of measures for the formation of a scientifically based system. The proposed system includes assessment elements such as subjects, objects, methods and procedures. A model of the assessment system adapted to the needs of the manufacturing enterprise is given, including the analysis of current employee activities, assessment during personnel selection and feedback. The main emphasis is placed on the creation of an effective and transparent system that contributes to the increase of employee motivation and producti vity.
