Analysis reveals efficiency benefits of rooftop solar in Kazakhstan, suggesting improvements in small-scale installations.
Solar energy in Kazakhstan is developing rapidly, taking a leading position among renewable energy sources due to the country's vast territory and high solar radiation intensity. Large solar power plants provide the majority of generation. However, for full development, small-scale installations, including rooftop solar panels, are also necessary. The study examines the prospects for the development of such installations, using computer modeling in PVsyst and Ansys Mechanical software to assess the performance of the panels under high temperatures and conduct a structural analysis of their frames. Based on the results, recommendations are provided to improve efficiency and optimize the structural characteristics.
