A review of blockchain technology platforms that are used to improve data security by transferring digital assets without a central administrator is conducted. This study offers a unique perspective by providing a technical comparison of blockchain platforms from the point of view of the theory of creating a unified digital platform for higher education to improve the reliability of stored data and methods for verifying their authenticity. Among the available blockchain technologies, the following platforms are highlighted for comparative analysis: Ethereum, Solana, Algorand. Based on bibliographic studies and comparative analysis of the sustainability of the presented blockchain platforms, key elements of SWOT analysis are proposed.
