Experiments reveal IoT integration improves learning efficiency and satisfaction in English education, suggesting impactful methods for educators.
This paper aims to explore the potential application of the Internet of Things (IoT) technology in English teaching and propose an IoT-based English learning algorithm model. This paper outlines the core concepts and development trends of the IoT, analyzes the importance and challenges of English learning in the process of globalization, and proposes innovative strategies for integrating IoT technology into English learning. In order to achieve the research objectives, this paper designed a set of experiments. The experiment selected an English class from a school as the experimental subject and deployed IoT devices to collect real-time learning data from students. Through comparative analysis of the experimental group and the control group in terms of academic performance, efficiency, and satisfaction, this paper observes that the proposed algorithm model has significant advantages in English learning. Experimental data show that the average grades of the experimental group students have increased by 15.1%, their learning efficiency has increased by 20.6%, and their learning satisfaction is significantly higher than that of the control group. The research conclusion shows that the English learning algorithm model supported by IoT technology can effectively improve students’ learning effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction, fully demonstrating the practical value of IoT in English teaching.
