Proposed stochastic resonance system amplifies weak signals in noisy environments, indicating new potential in signal processing applications.
The prevalence of interference and noise makes it challenging to extract useful weak signals from complex noise environments. In order to effectively deal with this challenge, a four‐dimensional single potential well stochastic resonance system for weak signal processing is proposed in this paper, and a comprehensive and in‐depth study on the dynamics and performance of this system is carried out. Firstly, a four‐dimensional single potential well stochastic resonance system is constructed based on the classical stochastic resonance system. Secondly, the equilibrium point of the four‐dimensional single potential well stochastic resonance system is analyzed; the system gain is derived, and the amplification mechanism of the system is analyzed in terms of its theory. Subsequently, in order to verify the stability and reliability of the proposed system, different noise and critical cases are analyzed and compared with other filtering methods. Finally, the hardware circuit was constructed, and an analog‐to‐digital converter was used to convert the electrical signals into digital signals, after which the system was subjected to weak signal simulation experiments. The research results indicate that the four‐dimensional single potential well stochastic resonance system can effectively reduce noise and amplify signals and adapt to a variety of signal types. This demonstrates its remarkable application value and great potential in the field of weak signal processing.
