Abstract Oceans are increasingly recognized as engines of economic growth, hosting a diverse range of resources and industries. The Blue Economy movement emphasizes sustainable and inclusive utilization of marine resources, balancing economic prosperity with ocean health. This paper examines the role of entrepreneurs particularly in India in fostering sustainable fisheries, aquaculture, marine tourism, waste management, and biotechnology. Through innovative business models, technology integration, and community engagement, these entrepreneurs demonstrate that profit and sustainability can coexist. The study highlights sector-specific innovations, gender inclusion, and challenges faced, and conclude with policy recommendations for scaling impact.
