Experimental design shows significant improvements in financial well-being for adults in India, suggesting SFFT's effectiveness in emerging economies.
This study investigates the effectiveness of solution‐focused financial therapy (SFFT) in improving financial well‐being (FWB) among adults in India using an experimental design. A sample of 120 participants was randomly assigned to an intervention group ( n = 60) and a control group ( n = 60). The intervention group underwent a 6‐week SFFT programme, whereas the control group received no intervention. FWB was measured pre‐ and post‐intervention. Results showed a significant improvement in FWB scores for the intervention group compared to the control group, suggesting that SFFT can be an effective approach for enhancing FWB in emerging economies.
