Formation of academic writing skills of future physical education and sports specialists using information and communication technologies

The article presents a study of scientific works by leading researchers on the formation of academic writing of future specialists in physical education and sports in higher education institutions. It is established that the formation of skills in research activities of higher education students is a necessary condition for the professional training of a modern specialist in the field of physical education and sports. Active research activity in higher education institutions contributes to the manifestation of scientific interest and the improvement of academic communication for the presentation of research results. The purpose of teaching academic writing to future specialists in physical education and sports is, first of all, the development and improvement of language skills in the fiel d of scientific communication and the formation of skills to work with scientific texts of various genres, with an emphasis on annotation. Vocabulary and examples of typical syntax based on academic texts serve as the basis for creating one's own scientific texts. Based on the study of scientific and methodological literature, analysis of the work experience of teachers of domestic and foreign higher educational institutions, the importance of information and communication educational technologies was revealed, the main directions and tasks for using the latest teaching tools in the professional training of future specialists in physical education and sports were identified.
