Observational analysis shows increased fetal distress in pregnant women with inflammatory diseases, highlighting the importance of early treatment.
The article presents the results of studies of the intrauterine state of the fetus and the effectiveness of treatment of primary placental dysfunction in women with inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs. It has been established that pregnant women with inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs constitute a high risk group for the development of intrauterine hypoxia and fetal distress. To assess the effectiveness of the prevention of placental dysfunction (PD), the main group of women was divided into 2 subgroups: subgroup 1 – IA women who received PD prevention and specific treatment of inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs in the first trimester of pregnancy; subgroup 2 – IB women who received PD prevention and specific treatment of inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs in the second trimester of pregnancy). In pregnant women who began receiving treatment in the second trimester of pregnancy, diagnostic disorders of the intrauterine state of the fetus were observed significantly more often compared to women who received treatment for inflammatory diseases of the female genital organs and prevention of primary placental dysfunction in the first trimester of gestation. Choosing the right antibacterial drug that does not have a teratogenic effect on the fetus and using it in the first trimester of pregnancy will significantly reduce the signs of perinatal complications during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum complications.
