Numerical simulation reveals optimal air velocities for vortex burners, indicating improvements in combustion stability.
In order to solve the problems of burning loss, ash and slag accumulation on water wall and high temperature corrosion, the structure of OPCC vortex burner was optimized by numerical simulation method, and the influence of the exit velocity of primary air, internal secondary air and external secondary air and the Angle of vortex blade on the dynamic field under tangential rotation mode of external secondary air blade was studied. The results show that under tangential rotation mode, when the primary wind speed is 16 m/s, the inner secondary wind speed is 33m/s, the outer secondary wind speed is 42m/s, the inner secondary wind swirl blade Angle is 40° and the outer secondary wind swirl blade Angle is 50°, the cold dynamic field of the burner is the best. The research results provide a basis for improving the working effect of OPCC vortex burner structure optimization, and have important significance for ensuring the safe and stable combustion of boiler units in coal-fired power plants.
