Experimental analysis determined efficiency of thermoelectric generators in varying temperatures, suggesting practical applications for energy generation.
This study presents the design of a system utilizing Thermoelectric Generators (TEG) model SP-1848 27145, arranged in parallel. Electrical parameters were calculated to monitor the system, which was characterized by measuring current, voltage, and subsequently calculating electrical power based on temperature differences between the hot and cold sides ranging from 0 to 70 °C. An experimental Seebeck coefficient of 0.032 [V/°K] was obtained. Finally, the system’s efficiency, η, was determined to be approximately 0.19.
