Experimental study reveals how solar irradiance and temperature affect PV panels in low-latitude regions, suggesting optimization strategies.
The photovoltaic (PV) power generation efficiency declines when the temperature of PV panels increases, while such temperature is influenced by various meteorological factors such as solar irradiance, ground surface temperature, and ambient air temperature. Based on measured data of solar irradiance, ground surface temperature, and ambient air temperature in low-latitude plateau regions, this study analyzes the influence patterns of these meteorological variables on the temperature of PV panels. According to experimental results, this paper establishes a calculation model for the impact of meteorological factors on PV panel temperature in low-latitude plateau regions, providing a design basis for the engineering and operation of solar PV power generation systems in such areas.
