Optimization methods improved rendering performance in mobile systems, highlighting potential benefits.
. The article discusses the problems of high computational load in rendering three-dimensional scenes associated with limited resources of mobile and embedded systems. Optimization methods are investigated: batching to reduce rendering calls and the use of normal maps for detailing without enlarging the polygonal grid. An algorithm combining both approaches is proposed, including the stages of forming TBN matrices and grouping objects. The test results demonstrate an 83% increase in performance in scenes with homogeneous objects, as well as compromises when working with unique materials.
