Algorithm predicts limit cycle oscillations in non-linear aeroelastic systems, suggesting effective use of dynamic stiffness measurements.
This paper investigates a non-linear aeroelastic system limit cycle oscillations prediction algorithm based on dynamic stiffness measurement. The equivalent stiffness of the system at different amplitudes and frequencies, which is obtained by experiment, is substituted into the non-linear aeroelastic systems, and the frequency and amplitude of LCO for the non-linear aeroelastic systems at this equivalent stiffness are calculated. The simulation result shows that the frequency domain method can accurately predict the critical velocity of LCO. For the same LCO, the frequency domain method predicts that the critical velocity is consistent with the time domain method.
