This analysis method predicts energy supply margins for agile satellites, indicating implications for risk assessment.
The Electrical Power Subsystems (EPS) are highly prone to energy crises in agile satellites under extreme environmental conditions during frequent rapid orbital maneuvers and large-scale attitude adjustment missions. This paper proposes an energy balance analysis method based on multi-system coupling modeling. A multi-physics coupled model integrating EPS with the attitude and orbit control subsystem (AOCS) is established. Taking spacecraft flying-around missions as a case study, we analyze the electrical power harvested by solar array and battery charging/discharging dynamics, while simulating payload power consumption fluctuations under complex maneuvering conditions. This approach effectively predicts the energy supply margin of satellites during maneuver-intensive tasks, thereby enabling risk assessment, and energy management optimization.
